KUCHING: Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud has been keeping mum amid allegations of corrupt practice hurled against him. But he could not have chosen a better forum to answer his critics yesterday.
Saying that the allegations would not only tarnish his image but also that of the state if left unanswered, he made a Personal Statement under standing order 22 on the first day of the Sarawak State Assembly meeting.
